Backup and Recovery
Data is the most important aspect of your business. Data failures can happen as a result of hardware or software issues, data corruption, human caused events (virus, malware, disgruntled employee), or just accidental deletion and it can happen to anyone. We make sure your data is backed up and safe from disaster.
Did you know: 93% of companies that lost their data for 10 days or more filed for bankruptcy within one year of the disaster, and 50% filed for bankruptcy immediately. (Source: National Archives & Records Administration in Washington DC.)
Even if you already have a backup solution in place, it is a good idea to keep them in more than one place. This is why we believe in the "3-2-1" rule of backups.
- Keep at least 3 copies of your data.
- Store 2 backup copies on different storage media.
- Keep at least 1 backup copy offsite.
Our client's backups are monitored on a daily basis to make sure their backups are current and relevant. We also do periodic testing to make sure the data backed up is valid and not corrupt, making it unusable.
